We’re holding a web-based pitch competition over the weekend to get people fired up about Mobile Health.
It’s simple to compete.
In 30 seconds or less, pitch your idea for how mobile technology, such as a smart phone, could be used to address a problem in healthcare? What’s the problem? What’s the solution? What’s the business opportunity?
Don’t know what problems are out there? Send an email to info@iactpgh.com and we’ll share a list of problems/ideas submitted by local physicians for you to use. A winner will be selected for “crowd favorite” based on number of Youtube “likes” and by a panel of expert judges.
Click here to link to our Youtube video instructions. Submit your pitch as a video reply by clicking in the comment box and uploading your pitch.
All pitches must be submitted by Friday, Nov 11th, 6pm.
We’ll be announcing the winners and handing out prizes at the next IACT MeetUp on Nov 14th, 7-9 pm at Mervis Hall on Pitt Campus. Look for RSVP details for the MeetUp soon!
Additional rules:
- While team pitches may be submitted, we will be awarding one prize to each winning submission
- Competitors must attend the MeetUp to win
- Only one submission per person
- Prizes will consist of iPod products
Please feel free to share our flyer with your friends and colleagues:

You say ‘one prize per submission’, but you never mention what the prize is. I know that would help motivate me!
Thanks for pointing this out! We have an iPod Nano that we’ll be giving away to the winning submission. I’ve updated the post to reflect this information.
